What We Collect
When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email to save reading progress. During setup, a parent may optionally provide the child’s first name, age, and gender for personalized feedback. This is stored on your device.
Voice Recordings
The App records your child’s voice while reading. Audio is uploaded securely, transcribed by AI, and permanently deleted immediately after processing (typically under 10 seconds). We never store audio files or build voice profiles.
Reading Progress
Books read, accuracy scores, streaks, and achievements are stored locally on your device. This data is not uploaded to our servers.
Third-Party Services
We use Firebase (Google) for authentication and crash reporting, OpenAI for voice transcription (Whisper) and reading analysis (ChatGPT), and Apphud for subscription management. All data is encrypted in transit.
Children’s Privacy
Readigo is designed for children under parental supervision. We do not serve ads, build marketing profiles, or sell data. By creating an account, the parent or guardian consents to the data practices described here.
Analytics
We collect anonymous, aggregated usage data (app launches, feature usage, crash reports) to improve the App. This data cannot identify your child personally.
Your Rights
You can view all data through the Parent Dashboard. To delete your account and all associated data, contact support@readigo.app. You can opt out of analytics in device settings.
