Why We Built This

69% of US 4th graders read below proficiency level. Tutors cost $40–80/hour and scheduling is a nightmare. Most reading apps are passive — kids tap and swipe but never practice the one thing that matters most: reading out loud.

We built Readigo so every kid could have a patient, always-there reading coach. The AI listens as they read aloud, gives feedback on pronunciation and fluency, and shows you — the parent — exactly how they're doing.

How We Build

Readigo follows the Science of Reading — phonics-based principles trusted by reading specialists worldwide. We use Whisper ASR adapted for kids' voices, combined with AI that gives word-by-word feedback matched to each child's level.

Every feature we build has to answer one of two questions: "Would a parent trust this with their kid?" and "Would a kid actually want to use this?"
